"Un-Aesthetically Pleasing" Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet
While many customers prefer cast iron skillets that are without blemishes (or, very tiny, few), we still get a handful of "reject" pieces from the casting process.
This means there are 8" raw-oiled and fully seasoned cast iron skillets that have some casting errors, usually a small pock in the handle or rough edges along where the gating was ground. They look a bit rough around the edges, but they perform the same.
Due to their slightly dilapidated look, though, we're offering these at a discount. Each skillet will have differing marring but will all be 100% usable and will last a solid century or two if properly cared for.
These fully hand-seasoned skillets are pre-heated to 250 and then further seasoned with 6 - 8 coats of organic flaxseed oil over an open fire.
